Packaging for beauty

Close tolerances, soft surfaces and a print that matches the product.

Cosmetic packaging carries more information and more brand than almost any other category: ingredients, volume, batch and regulatory marks on the same panel as the artwork that sells it. It is also handled constantly — picked up, turned over, put back — so the surface matters as much as the print. Soft-touch lamination, a foil logo and a carton that closes with a clean click do the work that a glossy stock cannot.

The structure is decided by the product. A tube or dropper bottle wants a tuck-end carton, often with a board insert to hold it central. A jar wants an auto-lock base for the weight. Fragrance and sets move to rigid boxes with fitted inserts. We size each to the primary pack, so nothing rattles and the box looks made for it — because it is.

What beauty products are packed in.

Printed folding cartons in sage, peach, navy and pink

Reverse tuck carton

The standard skincare carton — tube, dropper or pump inside, full-color outside.

Set of printed cosmetic cartons in white, orange and pink

Carton with board insert

Holds a bottle or jar central so it does not move or mark the board.

White rigid jewelry boxes with a printed lid

Rigid fragrance box

Lid-and-base or magnetic greyboard box with a fitted insert.

Tall printed folding cartons and a sleeve in muted colors

Gift set carton

A larger carton or sleeved tray presenting a routine or set.

Two white straight-tuck cartons with black type

Window carton

Shows the product's color — nail, lip and bath ranges.

Four small printed cartons in purple, green, orange and cream

Sleeve & tray

An open sleeve over a tray for minis, samples and travel sets.

Materials & finishing

Surfaces that feel like the product.

Beauty packaging is judged by touch. Soft-touch lamination over full-color print is the sector default; foil, emboss and spot UV add contrast where the brand mark sits.

Compliance on the panel

Room for the ingredients list without losing the design.

Ingredient panels, volume marks, batch codes and warnings are laid out on the dieline with the artwork, so the regulatory content is legible and the front panel stays clean.

How it works

From product to sector-ready packaging.

You do not need a dieline, a spec sheet or print-ready artwork to start. You need to know roughly what you are packing.

  1. Tell us the product

Dimensions, weight, how it is sold and where it travels. A photo is enough to start.

  2. Structure & dieline

We recommend the construction for the sector and issue a dieline with any insert marked.

  3. Board, print & finish

Stock and finishing chosen for the shelf, the courier or the gift table.

  4. Proof & production

You approve a proof before anything runs. Quantities and lead time are stated in writing.

  5. Delivery

Finished packaging is delivered free to your address in the United States, flat or assembled as the structure requires. Allow 3–5 working days for ground shipping after production.

Cosmetic packaging questions

Before you ask.

Anything not covered here, put it in the notes on your quote and we will answer it directly.

Ask on your quote

What is the best box for a skincare bottle?

A reverse-tuck folding carton in 16pt–18pt SBS with a board insert to hold the bottle central. Add soft-touch lamination for the sector's expected feel.

Can you print the ingredients list and barcode?

Yes. You supply the regulatory content; we lay it out on the dieline with your artwork and make sure it prints legibly.

Do you make rigid boxes for fragrance?

Yes — lid-and-base or magnetic greyboard boxes with a fitted insert, wrapped in printed or specialty paper.

Which finish is best for cosmetics?

Soft-touch lamination is the sector standard: it feels premium, hides fingerprints and photographs without glare. Foil or spot UV on the logo adds contrast.

What do you need to quote cosmetic packaging?

The primary pack's dimensions, quantity, structure preference if you have one, finish preferences and your artwork or logo. A photo of the bottle or tube helps.
